At Hilgard Language School, courses will be contracted prioritizing both the client's interests and in accordance to the center's availability. All class scheduling information and course development is free. The center's responsibility starts when payment is made prior to the first class, which legitimizes the contract with the teacher.

The student can withdraw within the first two sessions of class. If he does so, the center will refund the amount of the course, except that part that corresponds to the one or two sessions he has already taken. Otherwise, the course will be fully effective in the third session.

To avoid misunderstandings, it is vital to remember that students are responsible for their class attendance the same way the center ensures the teacher's attendance. Cancellation or change of any schedule programmed at registration time is not permitted. The teacher is entitled to leave the center thirty minutes after the beginning of the class if the student does not show up. The only exception to this is if the student has notified the center by phone of late arrival.

The school will attempt to contact the students by phone if a class cannot be given. The course will be automatically extended, according to the intensity established at registration.

In case a teacher needs to be substituted, the original conditions relating to a two-session trial basis apply. A greater obstacle would be a refund to the client of the amount of classes that have not been given. If there is misbehavior, the school reserves the right to expel the individual, without further obligation than to submit a record.

Registering for private lessons implies the complete acceptance of these rules.
